Meet the team
JADE (UK) is an International Architectural design studio, based in UK, Hong Kong and Shanghai, founded by a British Architects Martin Jochman and Richard Andrews by combining resources and capabilities of their established practices in UK and in China.
Prior to setting up JADE (UK), Martin and Richard have had many years of UK and International design experience winning numerous national and international competitions and awards. Martin has worked in UK, and internationally on many high profile projects such as the Jumeira Beach Hotel and the Wild Wadi Waterpark in Dubai, Redevelopment of city centre in Kiev Ukraine, Tianjin TEDA towers, Wuhan Pebbles, Shimao Wonderland Intercontinental Hotel in China and other important landmarks.
Richard has also had an extensive experience both in the UK and on Internationally projects such as the RTM Mega mall in Russia and prestigious projects in Dubai under his control. Richard has established his successful design studio in Newport, Wales in 2013. Both offices in UK and China are supported by experienced team of architects and assistants.

Our teams in United Kingdom and in China are experienced in providing complete design consultancy service from Concept to Completion inclusive of Scheme and Detailed Design stages inclusive of overview and coordination of Construction Drawing and Site Construction stages.
Our portfolio of work represents many years of experience of our team members both in UK, Internationally and in China. The concepts, scheme development, construction documents and the construction site experience has all been managed and produced by our studio team members. Our combined know how covers many diverse building types ranging from residential to retail and mixed commercial developments to many different types of hotel types, both in city centres and holiday resort locations. We have also designed themed projects such as aquaria, waterparks and other leisure led developments.
